This Weekend...

Friday night Michelle and I had set out to go see a Pink Floyd cover band for her birthday, at the Lincoln Theatre, however the ticket prices were just rediculous. Instead, we decided to go to this bar in downtown Raleigh called Stool Pigeons. It's a new favorite place of ours. We had a lot of fun and even drank some frozen sangria. When we were leaving we saw a fire truck and an ambulance and people buzzing about the streets; more than usual. Paramedics were flocking around this body in the streets as we walked by with curious eyes. Apparently this idiot stumbled his drunk ass out of a bar and right into the middle of the street, where he was promptly hit by a car.I saw this sign near by and found it amusing in light of what had just happened. :)

Saturday we woke up around 6:30AM and went to Shelly Lake to go jogging. Anyone that knows me would be shaking their head in disbelief at me right about now. I haven't been jogging since high school, and even then it was only because I was being forced, lol. Anyway, I've decided to start being more healthy, so I went with Michelle on her weekend jog. We first started jogging and I thought to myself "Hey, this isn't so bad. I could go for miles." A very short while later, I thought to myself "This sucks! I'm dying! Help Me!!!" lol. Needless to say, I didn't jog the whole way like Michelle did, but I did walk fast and sprint from time to time, and kept moving the entire 4 miles. So, I'm somewhat proud of myself and she was proud of me for not giving up, lol. We went home and made it a movie day after eating delicious french toast that Michelle made.

Sunday was just a day of rest and relaxation for me. I could feel everyone of my muscles begging me to just stay in bed. Me and Michelle just hung out all day again and I taught her a few things on the guitar. Later we went to church and then to her parents house for a ham dinner. After dinner we just hung out and played with her son and her niece. It was a nice relaxing weekend and now back to work...
I'll keep you posted...
